Quick answers

How do I invite my family?

Turn on "Keep my adventure in iCloud" on everyone's phone. Each person's sigil, like EMBER-FOX-472, is on their hero screen. The Guildmaster, the person who started the guild, opens the Guild tab, taps Add under "Meet your guild" and types the sigil. Queststone shows whose sigil it is before sending, with their hero's portrait and name, and the other person taps Join.

Someone in my family doesn't have their own phone.

On the Guild tab, tap Add under "Meet your guild" and choose "Create a hero on this device". Then use Switch on their card to play as them.

My guild isn't showing up on another phone.

Check that "Keep my adventure in iCloud" is on, on the Guild tab of both phones, and that both are signed in to iCloud and online. Then pull down on the Guild tab to refresh. If it still doesn't appear, send us feedback with sync details turned on.

How do I delete my data?

You can do it in the app. To delete one hero, open My hero and tap Delete my data under the sigil card. To delete every hero on the phone, open your hero, tap the gear, then Delete everything, the last row. Each window shows what goes and what stays before anything does. Your choices, and deleting your data in our privacy policy explains each one, or write to us.

Someone I don't know keeps inviting me.

You can block them. Under the invitation's Decline and Join, on your quest board or on the Guild tab, tap the small red chip with their hero's name, like "Block Robin", then Block. That invitation is declined, just as Decline declines it, and from then on their invitations stay hidden on that phone: no prompt, no banner, no row on the Guild tab. They aren't told you blocked them. To unblock someone, open your hero, tap the gear, then Blocked, and tap Unblock beside their name. One thing to know: iCloud may still show its own lock-screen alert, "You've been invited to a guild", because iCloud sends it before Queststone can see who's asking. Open Queststone and nothing is waiting.

How do I report someone?

For somebody in your guild: on the Guild tab, tap their hero card, then the red Report chip with their name, like "Report Robin". Choose whether it's about their name or picture or something they wrote, pick the thing if you like, and tap Report. That opens an email to queststonesupport@gmail.com with what you reported, their hero's name and the guild's name, and hides what you picked on your phone straight away. A Guildmaster can choose Report and remove from guild instead.

For an invitation from someone you don't know: under the invitation's Decline and Join, tap the red chip with their hero's name, then Block and report. That blocks them and opens an email holding the inviting hero's name, the guild's name and the invitation's id.

Either way you see the email before you send it, and you can add what happened. If the phone has no mail app, Queststone offers to copy the report so you can send it another way. Or write to us at the same address. We look at every report within 24 hours.

What are the community rules?

Short rules everyone agrees to when they turn on iCloud or join a guild: be kind, no bullying, hate or threats, no sexual content, and keep private things private. Read them on the community rules page. They're also in the app, under Settings.
